(Lesson 4677)(11-23-24) Acts 18:8-11
“And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized. Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city. And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.”
Today’s quote relates that many Corinthians believed in Paul's message, including Crispus, the leader of the synagogue, and his household. Despite that success, Paul faced opposition, but the Lord encouraged him in a vision, telling him not to be afraid and to keep preaching the gospel, for there are many people in the city who will be saved. Paul stayed in Corinth for a year and a half, teaching the word of God and strengthening the church. ~
