(Lesson 4660)(11-06-24) Acts 14:24-28
“And after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia. And when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down into Attalia: And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled. And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles. And there they abode long time with the disciples.”
In today’s quote, Paul and Barnabas continued their journey, passing through Pisidia and Pamphylia, and preaching the word in Perga. They then traveled to Attalia and sail back to Antioch in Syria, where their missionary journey began and where the church had originally commissioned them. Upon their return, they gathered the church to report all that God had done through them, including how He opened the door of faith to the Gentiles. Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch for an extended period, sharing fellowship with the disciples. ~
