“He (Judas) then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night. Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.”
In today’s quote, Judas left the Last Supper after receiving the bread from Jesus, indicating his departure to betray Him. After Judas departed, Jesus spoke about His impending glorification, emphasizing that through His upcoming suffering and death, both He and God the Father would be glorified. That marked the beginning of the final events leading to Jesus crucifixion and ultimate resurrection. ~
