Lesson 2410

(Lesson 2410)(07-21-18) Mark 1:14-15
    “ Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

   Today’s lesson again confirms that Jesus came preaching the same message that John the Baptist had taught; essentially, that the Jewish people were to repent and believe the gospel of repentance. Will find in a later lesson that the seventy two disciples Jesus sent out were to teach the same message.
    It behooves us to again remember that the gospel that Jesus taught to the Jews was a different message than the one thatt would be taught after He had completed His divine mission to live a perfect life and to die for the sins of the world.~
