(Lesson 2404)(07-15-18) Matthew 28:16-20
“Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Today’s lesson is taken from a part of yesterday’s quote; wherein, Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and earth.", "and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen.” That statement means exactly what it says and implies that those of us whom have trusted in Christ Jesus and are indeed the children of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells in us, also have all power over the influences of this earth; Therefore, it is imperative that we apply that power, through prayer, to aid us in our efforts to spread the good news of the amazing grace of God “to all nations”, as Jesus commanded that we do in today’s quote.~
