“Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.”
Today’s lesson teaches the importance of faith and it’s rewards. That point is made in that Jesus sent out His twelve apostles into the world to preach and demanded that they take nothing with them to secure their wellbeing except their faith in Him. We, today, are afforded those same rewards if we rely solely on our faith in Jesus Christ.~
