(Lesson 2097)(09-02-17)  Ephesians 4:30
“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

Today’s qoute is taken from a part of yesterday’s lesson. I did this because this verse makes a point that is not clearly present in other parts of the New testament. That is, that once a soul is saved, it is eternally saved, or in effect, saved forever.
Most of today’s “Christian” organizations contend that after one places his/her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, that one must, of one’s own accord, maintain his/her own souls salvation so as to prevent slipping back into a state of utter condemnation. We see herein, as is firmly established in this quote, with NO conditions and from the point of acceptance, one’s eternal soul is sealed by the Holy Spirit of God “until the day of redemption.” It don’t get any better than that.~
