Lesson 4872

(Lesson 4872) (06-02-25) Galatians 5:7-10

“Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.”

In today’s quote, Paul reminded the Galatians that they had started well in their faith, but someone had stopped them from obeying the true gospel of Christ. He declared that this wrongful persuasion did not come from God and warned that even a little deviation from the true teaching could corrupt the whole group. Paul expressed confidence in the Lord that the Galatians would return to the truth and assured them that the one troubling them would receive his judgement. ~
