(Lesson 4871) (06-01-25) Galatians 5:5-6
“For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.”
In today’s quote, Paul taught that believers, whether Jews (the circumcised) or Gentiles (the uncircumcised), waited in hope through the Spirit for the righteousness that comes by faith. He emphasized that neither being a Jew nor a Gentile had any bearing on salvation. Instead, what truly mattered was in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, not adherence to religious rituals. ~
