(Lesson 4779) (03-06-25) 1st Corinthians 4:7
“For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?”
In today’s lesson, Paul challenged the Corinthians' pride by asking them who made them different from others and what they had that they did not receive from God. He pointed out that since everything they had was given to them by God, they had no reason to brag as if they had made it for themselves. His message emphasized humility and recognition that all gifts, talents, and blessings come from God. Paul left no room for arrogance in any of us. ~
