(Lesson 4778) (03-05-25) 1st Corinthians 4:6
“And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.”
In today’s lesson, Paul explained that he used himself and Apollos as examples to teach the Corinthians not to go beyond what is written in Scripture. He urged them to remain humble and not become prideful by favoring one leader over another. His message emphasized the importance of humility and faithfulness to God's word rather than boasting in human wisdom or allegiance to particular individuals. This lesson is a very important one, especially for today’s circumstances. ~
