“Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.” 

 

In today’s quote, the Jewish leaders reacted to Jesus' bold declaration that He is the Son of God by picking up stones to throw at Him. However, Jesus evaded them, leaving the temple grounds yet unharmed. ~
