Lesson 4495

 (Lesson 4495)(05-24-24) John 5:28-29 

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” 

 

Today's lesson speaks about the resurrection and the final judgment. Jesus said that a time will come when all who are in their graves will resurrected . *Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, while those who have done evil will rise to face condemnation. 

NOTE: ”Those who have done good”, are those who rise with the righteousness of Jesus Christ imputed into them. “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that JUSTIFIETH THE UNGODLY, his faith is counted for righteousness.” (Romans 4:4-5) “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9)~
