(Lesson 3513)(08-16-21) John 3:19-21
“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
Today’s quote relates that Jesus came into a world that was in darkness and condemned just as it is today. He, living a sinless life, then dying on the cross, provided a perfect sacrifice for the sins of those who will believe in Him. His blood gave the world a means by which we can avoid that inherent condemnation. In order to overcome that condemnation, a lost soul must simply accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ completely, and follow Him.~
