(Lesson 2640)(03-16-19) John 3:22
    “After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.”

   Today’s quote contains a statement wherein the author appears to contradict himself. In this text John left the impression that Jesus, along with His disciples, performed water baptisms; However, in the very next chapter of his book, John clearly states that Jesus did not perform water baptisms; “Though Jesus Himself baptized not, but His disciples”. (John 4:2)
    In the following lessons, we will try to establish some clarity concerning this apparent bible contradiciton as we continue studying John’s account.~
