“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Today’s lesson assures us that Jesus is as His word describes Him. In essence, just as this lesson says, the Word is Jesus, and Jesus is His word. The word of God (Jesus) is “full of grace and truth”. That, in it’self defines Jesus. ~
NOTE: Yesterday’s lesson contained a typo that actually changed the intent. The last paragraph should have read, The last part of the quote refers to the welcoming of the Gentiles, after the Jews had rejected Jesus, to be included in God’s plan of eternal salvation for ALL mankind. The Gentiles are those who: “were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
