Lesson 2474

(Lesson 2474)(09-26-18) Mark 13:12-13
    “ Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

    Today’s quote relates how relationships between believers and non-believers will deteriorate as time goes forward. Already, today, there are families whose members won’t speak to each other because of their varying religious beliefs.
    Sadly, there are many so-called Christians who impose all manner of obstacles to the pure will of God concerning how Christians are to conduct themselves and how lost souls are to be saved.
    Many propose to believe that the way to eternal life is through faith in Jesus Christ crucified, but then require a list of hoops that are to be jumped through before one can ‘save him/herself’. Whereas; in truth, NO SINNER CAN SAVE HIM/HERSELF! NO physical act of ANY man or woman has anything to do with their soul’s salvation. We have all been condemned to spiritual death by the fall of Adam and the ONLY redemption from that sin is to bury it in the life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ crucified through absolute faith in Him.
    We can easily see by what is occuring around us that the time of the end is rapidly approaching. It is the duty of  EVERY Christian to do everything within their power to teach the lost about the wonderful and blessed, soul saving grace of God, before it is too late.~
