Lesson 2566

(Lesson 2566)(12-30-18) Luke 51-53
    “ Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.”

    In today’s quote, Jesus forewarned that His doctrine would cause divisions among even the closest of friends and relatives. It is glaringly obvious that His warning has come to fruition today. There has never been a time when hatred has ruled the hearts of so many. The doctrine of Jesus Christ has been hi-jacked and virtually replaced with a religion of hypocrisy and greed.
    Even though we know that things will only get worse as the end time approaches, it is the duty of all true Christians to stand for the principles of understanding and compassion toward our fellow man/woman.
    In this final days, it is very important that we stand aside from the fray and preach the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ to every ear that will listen. ~
