"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?"
In today's quote Jesus promised those of us whom have accepted He loving grace, that whatever we ask of God, he will provide. Jesus compared the love of God has for His children with the love we have for our own kids. We, of course, will give our children anything they need and likewise God will provide all things for His own.~
Our American society has set aside this one day to give thanks for the year's bountiful harvest as well as the many other blessings from God's grace. I believe we should be thankful to God for all things every hour or every day.
