 Lesson 4523)(06-21-24) John 9:1-3

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”

In today’s quote, Jesus and His disciples encountered a man who had been born blind. The disciples asked Jesus whether the man’s blindness was due to his own sin or that of his parents. Jesus replied that neither was the cause; rather, the man's blindness was preordained to provide an opportunity for the works of God to be demonstrated in him. ~
