(Lesson 4713)(12-30-24) Romans 2:5-11
“But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God.”
In today’s quote, Paul explained that those who are stubborn and unrepentant are storing up wrath for themselves, which will be revealed on the day of God's righteous judgment. He emphasized that God will repay each of us according to what we have done with our lives: eternal life will be granted to those who immortality, but wrath and indignation will fall upon those who are self-serving and those who reject God’s truth. Paul stated that there will be no partiality with God, as He will judge every person fairly. Paul noted that its not only about hearing the law but actually doing what it demands, for God’s judgment is based on actions, not outward appearance. ~
