Lesson 2954

Lesson (2954)(01-31-20) Colossians 1:18-19
“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell”

This quote clearly established that, from the beginning of all things, God the Father gave to Jesus, (God in the flesh), power over all things always.
This lesson however, comes with a caviat. Jesus (God) does indeed have power over all things in the heavens and the earth, and has from the beginning; However, God gave every individual the power over his/her own body and mind (freewill), to do as he/she pleases while here on earth Each individual also has the option to choose or reject the eternal saving grace of Jesus.
In the end, Jesus will return to take away Satan’s influence over the minds of mankind. On that great and horrible day, lost souls will have lost their option to accept Jesus Christ as Savior. A great day for those of us who are eternally saved, but a horrible day of damnation for those who reject Jesus.~
