(Lesson 2931)(01-08-20) Ephesians 5:6-10
“ Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.”
The opening of today’s quote says, “Let no man deceive you with vain words”. That bit of Godly wisdom is very important, and has great bearing on today’s so-called Christian churches, seeing that there is nothing more distructive to the gospel of Jesus Christ than the works of those who would use the church for their own profit. Therefore, this warning should remain foremost in the mind of every true child of God.~
