Lesson 2919

(Lesson 2919)(12-27-19) Galatians 6:7-8
    “ Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

   Today’s lesson is another very important one for those who are seeking God’s grace today. This short lesson confirms that, for those of us who have believed in Jesus Christ, the sins we commit here on earth will be paid for here on earth. That means that if we choose to live outside the standards that are set out for us by the gospel of Christ, we will pay the price while we yet live in the flesh. Those who are saved by the amazing grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ will NOT pay for their sins after this fleshly life is over except as it affects the rewards we might receive at the Judgment seat of Christ.
    For those of us whom are saved and are living, not merely in the flesh, but also in the Spirit, the sins that we commit in the flesh are JUSTIFIED by the blood of Jesus Christ and will not be charged against us in final judgment. ~
