(Lesson 2912)(12-20-19) Galatians 3:27-29
    “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

    Today’s quote affirms that those who have believed in the virgin born life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ are all the same before God. In the church, the body of Christ, there is no one soul chosen over another.
     The quote mentions being baptized into Christ and some take that to mean that in order to be saved one must be baptized into water and therefore into Christ. Nothing could be further from the truth. The baptism mentioned in today’s quote relates to a total immersion of one’s spiritual self into the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. Eternal soul saving baptism has nothing to do with ritual water immersion.~
