Lesson 5284

 (Lesson 5284)(07-26-26) Mark 14:10-11

“And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them. And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.”

In today’s quote, Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus's twelve apostles, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus into their hands. Glad to hear his offer, the leaders of the Jews promised to pay him money, prompting Judas to determine a convenient opportunity to hand Jesus over to those who would soon have Him crucified. ~
