    “Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.”

    Today’s quote relates that Paul, according to Jewish law and tradition, purified himself before being allowed to enter the temple.
    That means that in order to be purified Paul would have been required to be ritually baptized in water so as to wash away the filth of the flesh. He would have also been required to make an offering before he could be considered purified before entering the temple.~
