Lesson 2321

(Lesson 2321)(04-19-18) Matthew 11:25-30
“At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Today’s quote contains a lesson that many overlook during their New Testament studies. It is this; “neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.”
The lesson means that unless a lost soul has, by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, been born again, and therethrough allowed Jesus to stand as his/her intercessor before God the Father, that lost soul remains unknown to God.
There are thousands upon thousands of so-called Christian representatives (preachers and teachers) who believe that they can go before God with their problems and receive anwers, having never correctly (by absolute faith) submitted, and committed, themselves to the pure doctrine of Jesus Christ. Very sadly those false teachers, who have never really even known the Son, or the Father, are leading countless thousands of unwitting lost souls into hell because of willful ignorance.
In essence, Jesus said one cannot know God without first knowing His Son.~
