Lesson 2208

(Lesson 2208)(12-25-17) 1 Peter 1:13-16
    “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am
holy.”
   
    Today’s lesson tells those who are already Christian people to forever remain obedient to the will of God. God’s will to usward was expressed as follows in Matthew 22:37-39; “Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all they soul, and with all thy mind. this is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love they neighbour as thyself. On these two commandmenst hang all the law and the prophets.”~
