(Lesson 2146)(10-22-17) 1 Timothy 5:8
“But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.”

In today’s quote, Paul stressed that a Christian man who fails to take care of his family is, “worse that an infidel”.
Sadly, Today there are countless numbers of husbands and fathers who have abandoned their families, leaving many of their wives and children to become involuntary burdens on others. As Paul has pointed out in previously studied scripture, it is the direct responsibility of the church to do its best in an attempt to care for all those who are incapable of caring for themselves, no matter how their current situation might have arisen.~
