Lesson 2078

(Lesson 2078)(08-11-17)  Galatians 3:24-29
     “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized (Immersed) into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

   Today’s quote again relates that if a lost soul is made a part of Jesus Christ through faith in Him, that soul has been reborn a child of God. Paul made it very clear that both Jews and Gentiles are made brothers of Jesus Christ, not by the way the live their lives, but by faith in the life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of that same Jesus Christ.~
NOTE: The term “baptized”, as it is applied in today’s quote, is NOT by any means a reference to traditional Jewish, ritual water cleansinf, or “baptism”.
