(Lesson 2473)(09-24-18) Mark 13:11
“But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.”
In today’a lesson, Jesus told His followers that they should never worry about preparing themselves for the inevitable confrontations that would come with those who disbelieve their message. He said the Holy Ghost would intercede to speak on their behalf in any situation. There is no better protector or intermediary than the Holy Ghost.
We, who are saved by faith in the grace of God through Jesus Christ crucified, have a very special gift. We have the awesome power of the Holy Spirit granted to us to both guide us in our every deed; And to actually put the correct words in our mouths when the need arises. What a glorius gift and what a wonderful God we worship. ~
