(Lesson 2058)(07-22-17) 2 Corinthians 5:10
    For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
   
Today’s quote puts to rest the contentions, of many so-called Christian denominations, that even the saved who have even one unforgiven sin will be required to stand before God in His final judgment whereat all who have sinned will be cast into the depths of hell along with Satan himself.
    This quote clearly establishes that those of us who have our faith in Jesus Christ, to bear the burden of all our sins, will stand before Jesus in the first judgment whereat we will be judged according to our works as children of God. We will NOT be judged as to whether or not we will spend eternity in hell. At the judgment seat of Christ rewards will be given to those who have honored God with the works they have done. “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” (Revelation 22:12) That promise from Jesus was made to the saved. Therefore, we will not again stand in judgment seeing that Jesus stands before God the Father, on our behalf, as justification for ALL our sins.
