Lesson 1248

(Lesson 1248)(02-27-15) 1 Corinthians 1:26-31

"For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord."

In today's quote Paul sums up the whole intent of his first letter to the Corinthians. Therein we read that nothing mortal man can do is wise enough or great enough to assure the eternal salvation of the soul.

Paul assured us that true wisdom does not come before God, but rather from God; "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord."
Jesus brought His gospel to the lowest and least esteemed. He warned about, and was put off by, those who thought themselves to be high and mighty, those who practiced pomp and ritual who being so sure of themselves, thought they knew it all; "Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples, Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; "Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation." (Luke 20:45-47)

There is no ritual nor work of human hands that can ever be a part of God's redemption of the immortal soul of mankind; "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." (John 6:44) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)~

  1. This is pure cultural Marxism, hatred of merit, hatred of nobility, hatred of excellence, even of reason and good judgement, a slave religion. In our REAL religion, the true Gods wish us to excel and use our brains. Do not encourage your daughter to be a Zombie and slave to Jews, but to think for herself. You will notice that the Jews do not follow this cult they forced upon us themselves? Here is their true creed, the Talmud. http://vikingalthing.org/article/quotes-holy-talmud-hell-anyone-want-expel-people/
